Roles: Compiler, Regional Editor, Community Engagement Leader
Navigate to the “Count Data” screen for your circle. Click the “Edit” button in the “Count Details” tile. AN entry form is displayed.
Do the following:
Count Date – Set using the calendar pop-up provided.
Count Event Description – For event and sector description templates, please see here. This description will be displayed on the public “Circle Finder” so prospective participants can learn about your plan for the day.
Count Social Event – If your circle will hold any type of social event, check this box, then complete the required details text box that appears. Please provide details about the location and accessibility, time, date, and whether participants will receive more details by email. If you don’t know your social event details yet, you can return to fill this section in later.
Close Registration – Choose when to close online registration for your circle. Select the drop-down arrow to see your options.
Additional Information for Participants - Any information, beyond the other items listed here, that will be shown in an email to participants who register online. An example of the email that participants will see is below.
Community Does Not Use Digital Systems – Select this for circles that do not use technology and instead have a friend complete circle details for them. If you select this box, an additional text box will pop up requiring more details. Note that if this option is selected, online registration will be disabled.
Limited Capacity – Check this box if your circle might be constrained by permits, boat capacity, or other limits that dictate how many participants can register. If you select this box, an additional text box will display asking for additional details. For limited capacity, compilers can close online registration once capacity is reached.
Visible Circle Leader – This lets you adjust or set the name of the Compiler or Community Engagement Leader who will appear on the public Circle Finder as the contact for potential participants.
