Our goal is to have accurate lat/longs for all CBC circles in the database. Once you've determined your accurate coordinates using the information below, please email those values and an updated center point description (1-2 sentences) to: [email protected]. Don't forget to include your count's name and four-letter code in the email!
Finding Your Latitude and Longitude Coordinates:
Option 1: GPS Device
Take a handheld GPS unit to your circle's center point
Record the decimal coordinates
Option 2: Google Maps or Google Earth (Free)
Navigate to your circle's center point
Right-click (or long-press on mobile) and select the coordinates
Coordinates will display in decimal format
Important Notes:
Use decimal format only (e.g., 59.500000), not degrees/minutes/seconds (59°30'0")
