  • Count Date – Set using the calendar provided.

  • Count Event Description – This description is displayed in the public-facing Circle Finder so prospective participants can learn about your plan for the day. We recommend using our CBC Event and Sector Templates to help you create your count descriptions.

  • Count Social Event– If your circle will be holding any type of social event, check this box. Provide details about the location and accessibility, time, date, and whether participants will receive more details by email. This information appears on the public-facing site.

  • Close Registration – Use to designate when registration for the event ends. Use the drop-down arrow to see the options. WHY IS THIS SO RESTRICTED AND WHY IS IT TIED TO THE ACTUAL COUNT IF IT'S JUST A SOCIAL EVENT? IT REFERS TO REGISTRATION TO JOIN THE CIRCLE

  • Additional Information for Participants - Any additional information you'd like to share with the participants in the Circle Finder

  • Community Does Not Use Digital Systems – Select this for circles that do not use technology and instead have someone else complete the circle details for them. If you select this box, an additional field is displayed, enabling you to add additional details.

  • Limited Capacity – Check this box if your circle might be constrained by permits, boat capacity, or other limits that dictate how many participants can register.

  • Visible Circle Leader – This lets you adjust or set the name of the Compiler or Community Engagement Leader that will appear on the public Circle Finder as the contact for potential participants.
